The short version

  • HomeWeek is a family planner, not a health app. It never asks for health information and doesn’t connect to Apple Health or health devices.
  • A household can still type things that relate to someone’s health, such as “Dentist” on the calendar. We treat that as consumer health data.
  • We keep it only to show it to the household and run the features it uses. We never sell it, use it for ads or use it to draw conclusions about anyone’s health.
  • You can ask what we hold, ask us to delete it, and appeal our answer by emailing hello@homeweek.app.

This summary helps you read this policy. It does not replace it.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

HomeWeek is provided by Vantaryn Labs LLC (“Vantaryn Labs,” “we,” “us”), a Wyoming limited liability company, 30 N Gould St #69108, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. This policy is our consumer health data privacy policy under Washington’s My Health My Data Act and Nevada’s law on consumer health data. It applies to residents of those states and covers the HomeWeek app, its widgets and our support channels. Our Privacy Policy describes everything else we do with information, and both apply.

“Consumer health data” means personal information that is linked or reasonably linkable to a person and that identifies their past, present or future physical or mental health. In HomeWeek, that can only be information a household chooses to put in.

2. Consumer health data we may collect

HomeWeek has no health fields and doesn’t ask for health information. We don’t read Apple Health, fitness or medical records, and we don’t collect information from health devices. A household’s adults may still enter health-related information, and we may then hold:

  • calendar events, reminders, chores, routines, lists and notes whose words relate to someone’s health, such as an appointment title (“Dentist,” “Physical therapy”), a clinic’s name as the place, notes about a visit, or a pickup from a doctor’s office;
  • an event’s category, including “Medical,” which an adult picks or which Smart Add suggests on the device from words such as “dentist” or “doctor” only to choose the event’s symbol;
  • photos and files a household attaches to an event or reads with Smart Add, such as an appointment card;
  • anything typed or drawn on a shared screen that relates to someone’s health.

This can include information about children that parents enter. We don’t infer anyone’s health from any of it.

3. Why we collect and use it

We collect and use consumer health data only as necessary to provide the family calendar and the features the household asks for:

  • to store the household’s items and show them on its adults’ phones and its shared screens;
  • to show reminders;
  • to run Smart Add when an adult chooses to use it;
  • to keep HomeWeek secure, to answer support requests the household sends, and to comply with the law.

We don’t use it for advertising or marketing, to build profiles, to draw conclusions about anyone’s health, or to train artificial intelligence models, and we don’t sell it.

4. Where it comes from

  • The adults in the household, from their phones and iPads.
  • Shared screens a parent pairs, when they are allowed to add notes or edit lists.
  • Smart Add, when an adult reads a photo or a sentence with it.

5. Who receives it

We share consumer health data only:

  • within the household: the household’s adults and its shared screens see items as our Privacy Policy describes, except Private and Busy-only items;
  • with our service providers (processors), which handle it only on our instructions to run HomeWeek: Supabase (hosting, database, storage and sign-in) and Cloudflare (our website), Google Workspace (our support mailbox, for anything you email us), and Apple (features that run on your device, and speech recognition only as our Privacy Policy’s Smart Add section describes);
  • for legal and safety reasons described in our Privacy Policy, such as a valid legal order.

We have no affiliates that receive it. We don’t sell consumer health data, and we don’t let other companies collect it over time and across other websites or online services through HomeWeek.

6. Your rights

You can ask us:

  • to confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data (we never sell it);
  • for a copy of your consumer health data, with a list of the service providers and other recipients we have shared it with and how to contact them;
  • to delete your consumer health data. We delete it from our live systems and tell our service providers to do the same. Copies in backups are deleted as the backups expire, within the periods in our Privacy Policy and no later than six months;
  • to withdraw any consent you gave. HomeWeek doesn’t rely on consent for consumer health data today, because we use it only to provide the service the household asked for.

Adults can also see, change and delete their household’s items in the app at any time. To make a request, email hello@homeweek.app with “Health data request” in the subject line, or write to the address in Section 8. We verify that a request comes from the person concerned, or from a parent or guardian for a child, usually by asking you to write from the email address on your account. We answer within 45 days. If we need more time, up to 45 more days, we will tell you why within the first 45 days.

Appeals

If we decline all or part of a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer or by emailing hello@homeweek.app with “Health data appeal” in the subject line. We will tell you in writing what we decided and why within 45 days. If we deny your appeal, Washington residents can file a complaint with the Washington State office that enforces this law at www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint, and Nevada residents with the Nevada office that enforces it at ag.nv.gov.

We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the dates at the top. If a change is material, we will tell adults in the app or by email before it takes effect, and we will ask for consent before we collect, use or share consumer health data in a way this policy doesn’t describe.
